Macbook Pro problem

So i had it for a week and today when i tried to turn it on, it stays at the white screen with the apple in the middle. Every once and awhile this sign blinks and replaces the apple than flickers back to the apple. The sign is like a "no smoking" sign. Thanks in advance if you know the solution. I'm bringing it in tomorrow to the store, just wondering if there is a simple solution.
