    i am gonna buy a macboo pro soon, and just wanted to know
    when the new updated version is coming out ?

    No one knows for sure, but its generally thought they will be announced on WWDC.

    Which is the 11th June.

    add santa rosa to your search and it will provide a good deal of chatter and info on what you might expect to see in the next revision.

    The general rumours seem to be:

    LED backlighting (better brightness, and battery life)
    Santa Rosa (new chipset, increasing speed)
    Speed bump, and baseline spec increase, possibly with a price cut like the macbook

    12/13" form factor, possibly with a flash HD
    H.264 hardware encoding (to make converting videos to an iPod/appleTV friendly format quicker, and not taxing on the processor)
    Case redesign (from major goodness, to adding the nicety that is magnetic closing)

    The top group are what I think are most likely
