MacBook Pro remote from S4?

Hi,

Looking for an app for my android S4 to control my macbook pro? Is that even possible? All I would like to do is basically control VLC and then shutdown my macbook pro!

I know its not fancy but thats what I would like to do and to me it sounds basic! My mac has nearly fallen to the ground on some occasions as I watched movies in bed! :0

Any apps please?!
