Hello! just bought my second macbook pro. My first one was the 2011 late 15 inch with upgraded gpu model that worked fine for 6 years until the motherboard crashed.

I just bought the 2015 13 inch retina model

My question is if i were to play games alot on my macbook is there a risk for overheating and ruining the computer or drastically reducing its lifetime? I know that the fans doesn't really go to high speed unless its getting really warm and yeah well my fans are going really hard and that makes me wonder if the fans cant keep the cpu cold during the gaming session.

It's fine. If the CPU hits the thermal max then it'll throttle or shut down to prevent damage. But you needn't worry.

It may feel very hot to the touch but that's partly due to the aluminium shell displacing heat to keep the internal components cool.

Your previous Mac was a documented lemon with the discreet graphics. There's no cause for concern with your current model. :)
