    Hi all

Just ordered my Macbook Pro Retina 2.6 Gig i5 machine, however how well does these machines do gaming ?

oldish would run fast like grand theft Auto, but what about newer games which specific graphic cpu requirement ?

Bioshock/Biosock 2 for instance, or later mac games in relation to detail ? Being only a dual core, not quad, would you need to adjust any settings, from a performance perspective ?

Congrats on your new purchase :)

As for game playing, I don't think its an ideal choice - the iGPU is going to be the main bottleneck. I'm sure it will be fine for some light/medium type games but I'll defer to the other members who are more game players then I am.

Bioshock 1 and 2 runs good on the 13" rMBP, you just have to lower the resolution to anything but the native res.

I could play even Bioshock Infinite well with it. ( the mac version)
