So my grandmother uses a late 2013 retina macbook pro 13“ to skype with us, because she lives in another country. Couple months ago, while she was skyping with us, suddenly the sound decreased and sounded thin and very weird. Since then the sound has always been like this. Example:
I reset the whole mac and set up a new account, no success.
Did a sound card and PRAM and nvram reset.
No success with anything, should I give up and take it to a repair shop?
The laptop never got wet or anything, it kinda sounds like my iphone when the speakers get wet.
