Macbook Pro Retina Magsafe Delay Before Charge Begins

I'm just asking this because i'm curious.

When I start charging my Macbook Pro it can takes around 5-10 seconds until the charging light comes on, I'm just wondering if this is normal or not.

i don't know about that long, but mine takes about 3 or 4 seconds to begin charging when i plug it in

usually 3-5 seconds here. Maybe longer if the computer is not powered on(?)

Mine takes a few seconds. Sometimes 2, sometimes about 8.
