Hi,

I recently ran into some trouble where my Macbook Pro retina mid 2012 keeps on crashing.

It started with my screen turning black but I could still hear the fans turning / keyboard was still on.

Now since a couple of days my laptop keeps randomly rebooting.

I will add the error it gives me.

If you know what this might be or how it might be fixed. Please let me know .

Thanks in advance !

got 13" or 15" , if its 15" model it might be the dreaded GPU failure.

Go to a technician and let him resolder the u8900 chip on the motherboard. It's a common problem of these Macbooks due to cracking in the lead-free solder that Apple used. Reference: Repair video
