In those above threads, people post retina pictures too. It's not like the rMBP changes an entire picture. The threads are all Mac setups. And yes, it clutters the forums. That's why there is a "PICTURE" section of the forums.

exactly than we would have a seperate thread for 15" and 13" and this and that and setups with 1 monitor and setups with 2 monitors and setups with 3 monitors and setups with black desks and setups with white desks than pretty much every post would get its own thread

No no no, you forgot threads for 11" Air, 13" Air, 13" MBP, cMBP, rMBP (don't forget each computer has its own high and low end versions!). Also, if you got your desk from IKEA not Restoration, you need a thread for that too!

Agreed, equally it`s still not a big deal, if you are concerned about clutter on the forum, this post should be the last of your concerns.

Agreed. I'd just like people to know that there is a Search function along with different sections for things like this.
