I have a mid 2010 13" Macbook Pro that has a couple of issues.
iSight camera doesnt work, nor does the dvd drive.
The left shift key is permanently engaged. However I have disabled it with keyremap software.

But also and I dont know if this issue is due to any of the other problems but the system runs very sowly.
One of the main things is when I press the exposé key it takes a good 20 seconds to show the windows and the same to hide them again.
The dock animation is also very patchy.

Anybody know what might be the cause?

    To speed it up-

Open disk utility- repair disk permissions

    Remove unused programs

Get cleaner and remove unnecesarry files

    Also reset safari

    Download onyx and run that

    Update osx if needed

Not much more osx is pretty simple
