Macbook Pro Screen Damage

My friends sloshed beer all over my macbook pro screen.
One of them cleaned the screen but when i took it home i see there is discolorization.
I have read alot of articles on people spilling liquid on the keyboard, but does any one have any advice on the screen? Will i be able to to pass this off to apple care to get a new screen?

Nope, this was an accident your friend did so unless he has insurance, I don't see AppleCare fixing this. At least not for free . . .

A new screen is pricey 🙁

You need to get some iKlear with a Micro Chamois cloth and polish your screen very good. That'll probably get the discoloration off.
