Macbook Pro Screen Distortion when Switching Spaces

Every time I switch between spaces the screen has these distortion lines that last for a split second. Its really quite annoying. I'm also noticing it when I scroll in Safari. Any ideas what could be causing this?

I should probably say that I've got a 2011 13" MBP.

My Mac mini will do this. Are you getting like thin green vertical lines or the fuzzy pixelation across the screen?

I am experiencing similar with my 13 inch MB Pro. Did you find any resolution for this?

I expirience something like this when I pull items out of the downloads folder on my dock. Screen is fuzzy in different areas and looks like a problem with the video card. This happens on my 2008 MBP and my 2011. It seems to be a graphical bug in lion because it happened on both of my machines with no mechanical issues.

No, sadly I never figured it out. I don't know what to do about it other than to just live with it.
