I got my 15" MBP in September 2007 and its been fine for most of that time. In the Summer it started getting large glitches on the screen of pixellated blocks, mainly when I was using Illustrator and InDesign for long periods of time. But it was fine for a while. Then the glitches came back last night. I turned it on today and now it can't even get past the apple loading screen. I've got a genius appointment on Sunday but I would like to know what exactly is wrong with it. I made a video of what happens, can anyone tell whats going on?

Cheers

Your graphics card is most likely dying. It's a known issue with the MBPs that shipped with the 8600M GT card.
