I have a MacBook pro with 4 GB ram 250 GB and recently I've been having problems using the computer.
The computer works fine the only problem is when I open videos on Youtube, the computer starts to lag a lot and if I move the mouse it takes 2-3 seconds to react, so I check Activity Monitor and it seems that the Kernel_task is using around 160% of CPU (idk why) and safari 20% (which I believe its normal).
As soon as I close the video everything works fine again, does anyone have any suggestion to solve this problem, if you need more info to understand what the problem is just ask for it.

Thanks.

MacBook pro slow performance/lag

Personally, I'd blame Flash Player. My suggestion is to go to http://www.youtube.com/html5 and use the HTML5 beta. It should help with your performance issues, at least as far as Youtube videos go.

Also, you might check to see if you're running the latest version of Flash
