hi the mac book pro that i bought second hand had xp on it with no boot camp just straight xp and a mac os x install cd bought frm shop and i brang it home and installed leopard and everything apart from the keyboard shortcuts and sound works im not worried bout keyboards as much as my sound issue i cant adjust it its grey and in output part says no output found or somthing like that THERE IS NO RED LIGHT IN HEADPHONES JACK i dnt kno wat to do plzz helppp me ill ad pic of sound prefs

Was the leopard install dvd gray? If it was, was it made specifically for your macbook pro?

If the dvd is purple, or whatever the retail disc looks like, uninstall Leopard and reinstall it. Maybe someone else has better advice.

Also maybe no one wanted to help you because it was difficult to understand your post, and also your second post will make people not want to help you.
