Macbook Pro Superdrive in Macbook

Is it possible to install a Superdrive from a Macbook Pro 2.16GHz (October 2006) into a Macbook 2.1GHz (April 2008)?

Yes should not be a problem - as long as the MacBook Pro is the 15.4" model - the drives are the same. 17" MacBook Pro optical drive a different thickness (12.5mm instead of 9.5mm from memory)

Check about my mac on the MBP - most are Matshita 857's
