So..

Had my tbMBP on standby for 17 hours after a 100% charge. Was only able to use it for 2 hours after that before it died.
This is starting to get ridiculous.

What were you doing on it? I haven't charged my 13 tb since Wednesday morning and have been using it for some web browsing, emails, Netflix and a little bit of Lightroom. Currently at 37%.

Honestly, nothing. Browsing on Safari, Apple Music on iTunes and Microsoft Word.

Have you tried doing a fresh install of the OS?
I didn't re-install it, it's the way I received it. But I didn't transfer a backup or something either.

Why would a fresh install help? Don't they all come with a fresh install?

Ok guys. After using it for a week, my average is 5 - max 6 hours.
It's just not cutting it for me and I ordered a nTB. Will return this one as soon as I receive it. Thanks for all your help!

Sorry to hear that. It sounds like the 15" I had with 3-5 hours. So my my 13" has been in the 7-9 range and I'm okay with that and hopeful some software/firmware tweaks will help as well. Good luck, I had a nTB and it was great for battery but I needed more processing power.
