I started having battery issues right away on the topped out high end 15" model. One week later thing wont even powerup anymore even when plugged in .. just amazing performance for a $4K machine. Short AAPL.

Okay. Let me look into my magical crystal ball and see what I can do for you.

Of course they are, fanboys will shot you down no questions, that doesn't make the issues less true though. Battery capacity is down compared to last gen, so yes, that means less uptime.

It's a good thing most companies actually don't listen to fanboys, that would incredibly stupid since they love and praise the products even when they are blatantly crap, loving a company/product into it's grave.

I am getting 4 hours battery life just doing light tasks such as browsing the web on 70% brightness.

Once I fire up Windows 10 in Parallels my battery lasts only 2 hours.
Completely and totally unacceptable. And no this issue isn't specific to my machine. I have exchanged mine twice and all of them have piss poor battery life.

There are several third party tests proving that battery life is poor and I believe them. Even Apple's biggest shills "the verge" conclude that 2016 have poor battery life.

I own 15" TB , 2.7Ghz, 455, 512.

Well, you bought a faulty machine. Could happen to anyone, right? I'm not sure what's the use of posting about this.

I do understand being thoroughly disappointed of course. It sucks to have a new machine dying on you.
