Macbook Pro(touchbar) external monitor flickering/static

I have a 15" MBP connected to an external monitor using Apple's genuine USBC-to-HDMI dongle. Every few minutes I get flickering/static on my screen.

Anybody has any clue on how to debug? Is it a problem with the dongle? Graphics Card? Software?

Just in case anyone faces the same issue, it was fixed by disabling the "Automatic graphics switching"
