Macbook pro updates. The good the bad and the ugly

So i'm a senior in high school right now and what to buy a mbp for uni. Just wondering when people think we will see some updates to the line. I personally don't think we will until Montevina but just want to hear everyones thoughts and maybe settle other other peoples mbp woes.

I think that we can see a Processor bump to Penryn in Feb-March and Monteviena at WWDC. That could also go along with a case redesign.

I think you can still wait a bit before getting a MBP. I am assuming you'll be entering college in early September. Get it by then, but there are still a few apple events from here to there, there could easily be an update during WWDC (which is before you September)

There are lots of threads like this. No one here knows for sure. Could be next week. Could be three months from now.

they will prolly come in 5 months
