Noted the magsafe airline power adaptor. Must be a response to those issues with batteries and apple laptops on batteries being banned on some airlines.

I'm glad I waited. It wasn't that disappointing of an update. Nice hard drive updates and ram updates. That was my biggest worry was storage with running bootcamp. Now to get myself to actually spend the money....lol. Still, glad I waited, it's been fun.

UK Prices:

15" 2.16 GHz - £1,349.01 - (Why .01? )
15" 2.33 Ghz - £1,699.00
17" 2.33 Ghz - £1,899.00

120gb on low end is nice.

I got a call from the Prudential just after the update, and it turns out the bond I'm cashing in is about £400 bigger than I thought.

I'll be sacrificing £1140 to the god of consumerism for a low end C2D MBP with Edu discount in the coming days. NO MORE CIVILISATION IV AT 5 FPS! WOHOOO!

Im pretty sure the prices have decreased. Also, if you look at the Mac Mini's they have the same .01 aswell

Forgive my ignorance, but what uses FW800 at the moment? A lot?

Edit: Anyway, US store is back up... HOW MUCH?

External Hard Drives use FW800

You need the speed for video or audio editing and you can't edit effectively without external storage.
