This is a thread concerning the different hardware upgrades users on the forum have made to their MacBook Pro. When telling us about your upgrade, or future upgrade, be sure to mention the model of your computer so that other users can compare. I think this will be a good place for everybody to "show off" their new upgrades and what not. Enjoy!

    My soon to be upgrades:
    -16GB Komputerbay RAM: http://trdd.us/qe
-Two 256GB Samsung 830 SSD's in a RAID setup, with one in the optical bay: http://trdd.us/qf

Nobody?! Come on, I've seen this in other forums and it's awesome. It only takes a second to chime in with your upgrades. :)

    Mid 2010 MBP:

    OWC 240GB SSD + 500GB spin drive in opti-bay
    8GB Mushkin RAM

Runs like a dream. Wake is instant. Photoshop starts in 3 seconds ready to go. Any browser starts up within 1 to 2 seconds.

If you don't have an SSD drive I highly recommend it:)

Really nice drive. I just installed the 240GB version in my Windows box and the thing flies now. About 15 seconds from cold boot to desktop. Pretty damn impressive:)

I installed 8GB of Crucial RAM and am loving it! The difference is night and day and it was super simple to install myself, and I have no technical skills what so ever.

Nice everybody. I'm looking at 16GB and an SSD, not sure yet though.
