Macbook Pro v Heat v Hard cases

Hello, at Christmas I will pass on a Macbook Pro 2008 (silver key) model to my daughter. I want to put it in one of these.

Does anyone know how these hard cases get on with the heat generated by MBP's?

I personally won't use those case. The macbook pro won't generate a lot of heat but those cases will not help dissipate the heat. It won't be good in the long run.

Ive had an incase on my classic for over a year. The heat didnt go up, i actually stuck bigger(thicker) rubber pads on the bottom of it for a while and it actually cooled it more with it on. That being said, not a fan of spec stuff. BUT, I dont think incase makes hard shells for Classic MBPs anymore, what a bummer.
