My MacBook pro is extremely slow downloading things such as Netflix, FireFox, and well anything that needs to be downloaded/upgraded. I don't know if this has to do with the new Mountain Lion upgrade, or what. Please tell me whats going on cause it is really pissing me off.

Thanks

I was using Wifi and it was slow, so I went out and bought an ether net cord and it is still extremely slow.
For example I have been downloading the silvernet or something for Netflix for about two hours now. I read that FireFox makes Netflix faster so I attempted to download that, it says it will take 5 days......my old laptop (notebook) took 30 seconds.

Check with your ISP that their service is fully functional. Sometimes ISPs degrade their service during maintenance periods and "forget" to inform their customers.

I will but its been like this for a couple of days now....also its my college, and no one else is having this problem, so i don't believe it is that
