Hi everyone,

First thank in advance for all suggestions, I am inquiring about what Macbook to buy can't decide or nail which one to get been reading a lot and going back and forth.

Here's what I am looking to accomplish this Macbook will be main computer used on the go and then plugged into dual monitor setup, I will be editing 4k video from a Sony a6500 using final cut, I've seen videos showing 4k video editing with final cut on a 13" and it's fine because it optimized for Macs so I may not need 15in and I am concerned about portability, also need help figuring out what storage size to get for video editing either 512gb or 1tb. And if you suggest the 15" model for the graphic do I get readon 555 w/2gb memory or 560 w/4gb memory

Xcode again 13" people have said more than fine

Any thoughts greatly appreciated sorry if it's confusing it's just I'm confused with all these specs

Video editing, especially 4K, is one of those tasks that wants all the resources you can afford. More everything: screen, RAM, CPU, GPU, disk. Consider that for some users, fully configured Mac Pros still don't deliver what they want. So the easy answer here is the most fully spec'd out MBP will probably work, though you'll need additional storage. My suggestion is to figure out your budget, determine the right size (13 or 15), and go from there. Yes, FCPX will work on an old model MBA. But as a general rule of thumb the more resources that can be configured the faster/better your workflow.

Question: what spec external monitors?

2x Lg ultra fine 4k that I found on sale for $498

Thank for the advice looking think of leaning more to the 13" the monitors can fully charge a 13" save an extra pound when traveling because if I want another screen when travel iPad 10.5 is coming along side duet display give me a travel second display but it's still hard because the 15" give so much power for only $100 more what do you guys think is better?
