Hey everyone, My Macbook Pro just died and since I'm out of warranty, I probably have to get a new one. I'm looking at either the MacBook Pro 15" 2.6GHz quad-core Intel Core i7 Turbo Boost up to 3.6GHz 8GB 1600MHz memory 750GB 5400-rpm hard drive1 Intel HD Graphics 4000 NVIDIA GeForce GT 650M with 1GB of GDDR5 memory or the iMac, either 21.5 or 27" 2.7GHz Intel Core i5 1920 x 1080 resolution 4GB (two 2GB) memory 1TB hard drive1 ATI Radeon HD 6770M with 512MB I need to to run the full Adobe Creative Suite and play mid-level PC games, like League of Legends. I'd use BootCamp for the games. I understand PCs are better for gaming, but I've already invested in the full Adobe Suite and use it for work, so I'm already locked into getting a Mac, unless I wanted to shell out for two computers, and price is definitely a concern. I also have an old Mac 20" monitor- was hoping to just get a 13" Macbook Pro but I think they're just too underpowered for what I need. League of Legends played OK on my old 2008 15" Mac, but the graphics were on the minimum setting and my computer tended to get really hot, so I used a fan under it. I'd like better performance from the games without spending a fortune if possible. Thanks for any help!
