MacBook Pro Will Not Start...Strange screen

I was upgrading to the newest OS and it had about 38 minutes left when the laptop got turned off. Now it will not start at all. It keeps going to the same screens which I attached as best I could. The first screen that comes up says the computer restarted because of a problem, then after 5-10 seconds it tries to act like it’s running a program then restarts back to the same “restarted because of a problem” page.

Any way to fix or reset?

Gosh I believe it’s from 2008-2010. I know there is a few buttons you can hold down before the computer starts to reset something...I didn’t know if that would work or not.

I would start by using one memory module at a time to see if it still panics.

If its the 2008 for sure, it would not support the newest macOS which is High Sierra 10.13.5

What macOS exactly you trying to install?

Have you tried booting off of an external device? Either a USB install image or a time machine backup?
