Hey

I bought my first MBP 15` 2011 model almost 2 weeks ago.
When I installed Windows 7 64-bit on it, it started freezing randomly when searching stuff on the internett and playing games. I found it very annoying when it froze every 15 - 20 minutes...
I began to search on google for help and I found serveral threads about Windows 7 freezing on MBP`s. All were 64 - bit. After some time, I was so lucky to find this.

its a modded driver from RivaTuner.

It`s basicaly the newest AMD VideoCard driver.
Since the driver from the AMD website had (or not, I dont know, It didn`t detect my graphics card) a bug. The one from RivaTuner is a ``hotfix``.

so if you download it it should detect it. After that my MBP didn`t freeze.
Even after 2 hours of playing Black Ops

And this is the 2011 MBP with AMD Radeon HD 6490M or 6750M (I have the 6490M)

Hope this helped for those who have freezes on the 2011 MBP

sorry if I explained bad or something.....
