Macbook Pro won't charge. HELP PLS..

Hi there,
I am trying to charge my Macbook Pro with its magsafe charger but the charger's light (orange or green) doesn't seem to turn on. The battery is not charging and the power adapter is just providing enough juice to keep it turned on.
Tried doing SMC reset: no luck.
Tried cleaning contacts of male and female port of charging connectors: no luck.
Tried replacing the AC power socket: no luck.

System Information of Macbook shows Charger status as Connected but Charging Status as NOT CHARGING.

Any fixes to this? Any help would be appreciated.

Could be a battery problem.

Unplug the charger from the wall, but leave it connected on the MagSafe end. What does the system status show?

Could be charging IC. Is battery detected? What model computer?
