    I have a MacBook Pro 1,1 Core Duo 2GHz with Radeon x1600 256MB.

I need to use Windows for one of my applications for a class, and I can't get it to work in Wine or Crossover, and I don't have enough RAM to run VMWare well enough to be productive.

Problem is I can't get Windows to display on an external monitor. I'm using an Apple Cinema display that works just fine on Mac OS, but when I plug it in on Windows, nothing shows up. It is displayed in the "screen resolution" dialog correctly, and I can drag things onto it, but the display stays black and the light is on indicating it is asleep.

This monitor works fine on my Windows desktop, and on my MacBook under Snow Leopard so I'm not sure what's going on.

Is there anything else I can try?
