I recently took my laptop in for repair under the MacBook Pro 2011 recall, which was an issue with the logic board. After the repair, the issues got worse. My system now won't boot at all, and constantly freezes on this screen. (While it's "frozen" the lines displayed on the screen still move.) Unfortunately as of 12/31/2016, they no longer honor the recall or offer any sort of repair at all on that model of MacBook.

If anyone can help, it would be greatly appreciated.

That screen is fairly common, and shows that the graphics chip has failed.

** Again **

If you live near a shop that provides full-board logic board repairs - in some large cities - you may find some place that can fix this, as the chip can sometimes be re-soldered.

Or, replacing the logic board with one that has been tested.

That's pretty much your options, if you want to keep THIS MacBook Pro.
If you want better (easier) results, replace with a different model MBPro. Sell the 2011 for whatever you can get.
