Hi,
I have a MacBook Pro 13" late 2013 model that I had bought in January 2014. I was working on it and if I remember correctly it had around 30% charge left when I kept it on my bedside table and went to sleep. My wife then kept my laptop on top of her own MacBook and when I tried to use it in the morning it just wouldn't turn on. When I connect my charger it shows the bright orange light which means it is charging fine. I have already reset the SMC and PRAM but it didn't help. I did not spill anything on it. My Mac is out of warranty and as I am in between jobs right now I cannot afford to pay Apple.
