Hey.

I have a Macbook from either late 2006/Early 2007 model, its a C2D 2Ghz anyway, and out of warranty.

Anyways, the screen doesn't come on, and keyboard doesn't work at all.

Now obviously seems like the logic board is dead, but it does power on, and you can hear the fan going, as well as that, when it is on, I can charge my iPod through, and lights on USB HDDs work.

Now does anyone have any idea what's going on? I simply don't want to take to apple having not looked up everything and then being robbed massively for a bit of a diagnostics(because if it's the LB, I'll buy a Pro instead of repair).

I have reseted PRAM and NVRAM, but I'm not sure if they worked obviously because the keyboard seems to be non-responsice(no lights for Caps/Num locks)

Also, anyway I can get the disc out of the superdrive?

Thanks for all the help. All will be appreciated!

To get the disc out, try holding down the trackpad button as you boot it up. If the trackpad is responsive, that'll eject the disc.
