On my MacBook Pro, protection I have Malware Bytes, ONYX & I do "First Aid " on the HD through utilities.
Lately, I have been having problems with passwords, Mac Mail slower then ever. So, my question is: what's a good protection program for a MacBook ?

I never used one and never had any issue. Unless you frequently download junk to your mac I think you should uninstall all that and enjoy the freed up resources.

In my younger days, I used protection on all conceivable occasions. But I've never used protection on any of my Macs. Waste of space and cycles. Unless you're really very careless and indiscreet, you don't need it.
