    Ok,

I have a Rev A Macbook. Its a Core Duo 2Ghz with 2GB of ram and the stock 80gb hard drive. I love this laptop and I really don't want to get rid of it.

I was thinking about putting the following into my MacBook:
    http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820220341

I really don't need all that much space, I just really use the laptop to surf the web and listen to music I stream from my Mac Mini that I have.

The reason I want to get a SSD drive is my current drive is beginning to die and its not the drives fault. Anyway I want to install a drive that will use very little power and will be silent. I hate it when I am reading at night and I can hear my hard drive spinning.

I just wanted to know if anyone else had done this before with a MacBook. I have heard and read people doing it with a Samsung drive, but I wanted to know if anyone had done it with a Patriot Drive.

    Thanks
    iGrant

Does anyone know if the OCZ series of SataII SSD will work in the Rev A Macbook?
