Looking at a refurb MacBook air at Apple, they have one that says "originally released March 2015" and one "Originally released April 2016".... why would they still have March 2015 MacBooks available?????

Thanks!
Dan

They get 'new' refurbs all the time

You know a return is second hand right? Most of them are almost always older models. But the current models are now so old, even their refurbs feel ancient.

Refurb means it was bought, returned, went through QC and repackaged to be sold again.

Someone returned their laptop in 2015 and it has yet to sell. Simple as that.

Because the "March 2015" MacBooks were the current model until the "April 2016" model was released, so a "2015" model was still being sold new until sometime in April.
