Macbook repair + Apple Midtown?

Does anyone know if they can do repairs on the spot or if they send it to Applecare? I have a problem where my Macbook screen flickers everytime it comes out of sleep and it's really bugging me. 🙄

The screen flickering definetly isn't normal... it just started occuring recently. There is a pretty big thread about it on the Apple Support forum, and a lot on MR.
