first off lets just say that i dont exactly know what a kernal panic is. but i noticed it come up in the report that i have copy and pasted.

basically twice today my macbook has dimmed its screen and asked me to restart. i dont have any options and i cant click anything, i just have to hold down the power button and restart.

when i restart i get this error report.

    thanks a lot! Joe

Do you have any USB devices with custom drivers? The message at the top of the log implies a buggy USB driver caused the crash, but this is only one log, so can't be sure.

My macbbok has been forcing me to shut down and sending a panic report as well for about a week. I also have used a WD in my USB, but it has not been connected for more than a week.

Did you ever find a fix?
