I just got my Macbook Retina 2016 and trying to use my Magic Mouse that I had on my old Macbook Pro.

When I set it up in Mouse preferences I do not see the "More Gestures" tab where I can setup the swipe options.

Does the Macbook Retina not support this or am I missing something?

    Thanks

I just tried my Magic Mouse 2 and it works fine.

Must be the older ones don't but problem is solved with the newer mouse.

If you still have your old MPB, I suggest letting the mouse connect to it then un-pair it via the blue tooth icon in the menu bar (if you have this icon turned on). Then keep the MBP off while you pair with the rMB.

I see a number of threads that insist that you don't need to un-pair first so long as the original machine is turned off but I definitely had this same issue as you and the mouse didn't show up on the new machine as a magic mouse until I un-paired it first.
