Macbook Retina (late 2013) Dual Display

I have just purchased a new MacBook. I have two LG monitors LG22LS4R. I was hoping I could use with my MacBook, so to extend the display over three monitors. I tried using the MB HDMI port to the display HDMI and the picture quality is really bad on the display.

Can any suggest or explain what I am doing wrong? Is it the displays, cables etc

Did you go to displays in system settings and check scaled and see if it detects your monitor?
