If I buy a MB from microcenter, if there is anything wrong with it and I need to return it for some reason, can I return it to any Apple Store or does it have to be returned to the microcenter that I purchased it at.

Unless you purchased it with AppleCare, I think it's Microcenter. Ask Apple, what would happen if you were to buy an AppleCare policy for it... I'm just curious.

If it is a warranty item, you would have no problem taking it to an Apple Store. If you were looking to return it for a refund or discovered something seriously wrong while un-boxing, then you would take it back to MC.

Just a heads up. Apple price matched with MC after I purchased my MB. If you take the ad into the Apple Store when you are ready to purchase, they may match it. If not, drive over to MC.

$120 beans.

The King of Prussia (Philadelphia) Apple Store matched the MicroCenter price for me yesterday. Of course the MicroCenter store is about 5 miles from the Apple Store.

I just spoke with a manager, and she said she would rather have me buy there then somewhere else, and would match the price, I must not have been the first one to ask, as she did not even look up the website.

I think price matching depends on distance from the MicroCenter store. I do believe that if you call the 800 My-Apple number they will match it over the phone.

Hey guys, thanks so much for the feedback. Specifically about the Apple Store price matching. I'll be in Arlington when I get mine and would much rather goto the Clarendon Apple Store than drive out to Fairfax.

That would be because this was the same store that I received my price match after the purchase last month :)

I live no where near a MicroCenter, and I order my Unibody form Apple.com. I called Apple Support, said I saw a lower price at Micro Center, I wanted to return my laptop, so I can get it cheaper. Within maybe a minute, they reimbursed me the $200, so I got it for $799. That was sweet!
