macbook rsd repair desparetly needed. cc instore?

since my macbook will no longer run then 5 minutes at a time it is desperately needed for repair. So I'm thinking about going to the mall with a friend of mine and taking it in for repair at the apple store. The only thing is I'm not sure if they require a credit card and since I'm not working right now i dont have one. Does anyone here know if they require a credit card for RSD repair which is covered under warrenty?

I just picked mine up over the weekend from the same repair. No CC required.

hopefully the fix works for us both. I'm also planing on trying to get them to replace my logic board as well because its got a serious case of the cpu whine.
