Macbook Running Adobe Suite

Hi All

My wife wants to buy the new macbook (full specs -1.3GHz dual-core Intel Core M processor (Turbo Boost up to 2.9GHz) with 4MB shared L3 cache.) but also wants to run adobe premier suite (mostly photoshop)

Anyone has any experience with adobe suites? Would Macbook run these apps or should she considers a macbook air (budget wise macbook pro is not considered)

It'll run Photoshop just fine. If you are doing some really heavy CPU intensive stuff, then obviously not but for general use yes, no problem.

I'm on Adobe CC and PS and LR run fine for me. I haven't done any timed comparisons to my rMBP. I'm sure the rMBP is faster, but the Macbook is speedy enough with layering, etc.

I've retouched medium format images on my 1.1. should be fine.

LR, PS, Premiere all run decently on my 1.3. Rendering anything lengthy in Premier is a chore though and my 3,1 MacPro still is my go to. I would go to the MBP if you need to edit video often.
