MacBook Screen on the TV

So currently I'm able to get the entire macbook screen on my sony bravia - which is a FULL TV in itself.


I want something , which will be just plug and play.
Since I travel a lot, I cannot carry my TV around if I want a big screen.
Or in another state...where i have another house - I cannot/don't want to setup a real TV for this kind of thing.


I need a huge screen that when just "Plugged in" and connected to the Macbook via HDMI....will show up the screen on the BIG screen





Sounds easy and do-able...but Ive never used big displays and such so need is needed 😉

If you have the mac connected to a tv through HDMI now and want to have "big screen" at another house/location, and you dont want (or can't) use a tv then you need to buy a monitor. 😛

Are you asking for advice on what (brand/model) monitor to buy?

lets say i just done have a tv

no TV!


i don't even want to buy a tv


i want to buy a big screen that has a HDMI port on it , JUST for my mac.

a screen that is just a screen nothing else to carry around.

Just to that i can use hdmi port to see my mac screen



and so that i can cary the screen (JUST THE SCREEN and hdmi port nothing else except my mac.) wherever i want.




basically i want a portable screen that will display my mac screen on it.
A BIG screen


of course he places i travel will need to have power so that i can plug it in .




i don't want to watch tv or anything .
