Hi,

I had my MacBook for 8 months now I now cannot believe I didnt make the switch earlier. To ensure that it runs as well as it has I was hoping I could get some advice for newbies on the best ways to keep their shiny new computers working well.

I have read many magazines that suggest 3rd party software etc, which I am still cautions about. I want advice on what to do on a weekly monthly thing.

I am sure anything will help!

Thanks,

Sean

Make sure you condition your battery every month or so, run it until it switches itself off, then let it sleep a few hours more with the lid closed. Charge it over night without using it, then carry on as normal. Should keep it going longer.
