Macbook Startup Issue

Hey guys, my friend is having an issue with her Macbook.

Every time i turn it on, the screen goes white, then shows the apple logo, then a grey page scrolls down telling me to restart the Macbook in 4 or 5 different language.

Any help is appreciated.

PS The Macbook is 5 years old.
