Macbook studders in video streaming and browser scrolling.. Help

As the title says, I can't watch a SD video on YouTube without the video studdering (but the audio continues) and then it skips and catches up.

What is going on? Also, sometimes when I am scrolling it freezes for 2 seconds, and even just now when I am typing this it'll freeze on inputting any words then catch up (just did it again).

Can someone help?
 
Look into the Activity Monitor (Applications > Utilities) what eats up your CPU?

What browser do you use, what MacBook do you have, what Mac OS do you have installed?
