Macbook superdrive NOISY!

Hi All,

I just converted my gf and she bought a Black Macbook. She first tried to insert a DVD in the superdrive and it made quiet a loud noise like something is getting forced in...

When she ejected the DVD the noise was not so odd but the DVD got out in a very jerky way?

Any idea? Especially about the noise when the CD is inserted.

Thanks Eidorian, apprectiate...my gf feels better now...when you are not used to the noise it can get pretty scary both for your laptop & DVD...🙂

The superdrive on my Black Macbook is EXTREMELY noisy when inserting or removing a disk, but it has never given me any problems.
