MacBook Temperature Sensors

I just received my 2017 speced out MacBook, I just installed iStat Menus and I am looking at the temp sensors and I was wondering what temp sensor I should use to display my processor temp? I have:

CPU Core 1/2
CPU Core PECI
CPU Cores
CPU PECI Die
CPU Proximity
CPU System Agent Core

Is there anywhere that explains all temp sensors?

Aha. And the only one🙂

The intel app I mentioned showes u the processor temperature u asked about.

As there is now way to overclock or tune a fan, what else do u need?

iStat uses the API from the Intel App to gather the data mentioned above, there are numerous CPU temp sensors listed above.
