Macbook thief caught after user takes pictures with hidden software

    This is a good story.. The pictures of the thief made me laugh... especially the one where he is fast asleep on the couch lol

    its shows the typical thief has no set look. my apartment was broken into year and a half ago and it still stings. Only now I have a very protective 4 legged lady who watches the place when I am not around .

    My 1g iPod touch was stolen 2 years ago, so I know the feeling. Nice to see that in some cases, the thieves do not get away without it.

    I wonder if there is something like this for the iPhone as well?

    I know there is something for jailbroken iPhones. Dont know if there is a legit app that does the same.

    It's interesting reading the comments on the article. Apparently, in the UK, taking the pictures like this is some sort of "human rights/privacy" violation, and would get the burglary victim in lots of trouble instead of helping his case. And it seems that some of the people posting those comments really support that idea. I think that's crap!
